COMPUTER APPLICATION (WORK IN PROGRESS)
PROJECT 1A I REVIT MODELING
Based on the selected architectural design, we need to generate a Revit model and the model must include at least 2 Revit family components. The architectural design that I used is my sem 2 final project.
Work in Progress
1. Set up grid line.
2. Set up level line.

1

2
Level 1 :
3. Set up wall.
4. Set up floor.
5. Set up and change the dimension of the staircase.

3

5
Level 2 :
6. Set up wall.
7. Set up door for toilet.
8. Set up railings and change the dimension (base offset).
9. Set up floor boundary and cut a hole.
10. Set up and change the dimension of the staircase.
11. Change the thickness of the balcony floor to achieve different height (offset: -50mm)

17
Roof :
18. Use (Roof by Extrusion) to set up the roof in elevation view.
19. Change the material of the glass.
20. Set up the structure of the roof by using (Model In-Place).
21. Use (Sweep) and (Pick Path) to choose the path of the structure.
22. Change the material of the structure.
23. Use Array to make other structures.
24. Use the same method (Model In-Place + Sweep + Pick Path + Array) to do the existing framing.

23

24
Family 1 - Column :
25. Customised column by using Family component.
26. Load it to project and use Array to arrange to.

25

26
Family 2 - Window :
27. Set up Reference Line, annotate and apply constraint lock.
28. Use Extrusion to draw window frame, glass and lock it.
29. Define the thickness of the frame and glass.
30. Define the materials used to it.
31. Load to project, use Array to place it.

Family 3 - Sliding Door :
32. Set up Reference Line.
33. Annotate and apply constraint lock to it.
34. Set up door frame and glass with Extrusion.
35. Load to project and place it.

PROJECT 1B I ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS DOCUMENTATION
Using the Revit model from Project 1, we need to prepare building documentation drawings in A1 size containing the following components: PLANS, ELEVATIONS, 2 SECTIONS, 2 CALLOUTS ON SECTIONS, 1 EXPLODED ISOMETRIC, 1 ROOM SCHEDULE.
Work in Progress
Documentation :
36. Load the A1 file and edit the title block.
37. Define space for every plans, elevations and sections.
38. Define the space.
39. Change the color for every spaces and draw a section line.
40. Set up the callout section from the section.
41. Set up the exploded isometric.
42. Set up a room schedule.
